^^ You can't figure it out from that?

You probably have some issue that is borderline, and posts then clears a code

Code Monkey 12-20-2015 08:27 PM

Cool story bro.

Roman-dude 12-20-2015 08:32 PM

Yeah, I know. There isn't more to it at this point lol. I'll drop by the shop at some point to have this looked at.

Have you scanned the car for fault codes? Do that. Not much anyone can help you with until that's done.

If there are no fault codes stored, there's no point in taking the car to a shop either. No fault code, no problem to troubleshoot/solve.

Yeah, that's pretty much the plan. Don't have a scanner, so I'll have the shop do that.

Go to Autozone, they'll scan for free.
Or buy a OBD2/bluetooth adapter (if you have an Android based phone) and download the Torque app and scan the car yourself.

A shop will likely charge you.

Thanks. They charge very little for that, but I might just follow your advice.

Like frothy said,

You need an elm327 Bluetooth adapter from eBay

Then you'll be ready next time.

Could be anything, but my best guess would be it's for a blocked EGR.

Get a code reader so you can be sure this is the case. Mine used to go on for a blocked EGR, so I would delete the trouble code. Usually a month later it would go back on, and turn itself off before I could get home and check. Then I just removed all that nonsense and have been trouble free since :).

Read the error code with some ELM, dashdaq, dashawk, or a tuner device (versatuner, cobb ap) and post it. Once you do that we may start guessing, but otherwise our telepathic abilities resume to knowing only sex related happenings about various persons.

Had a code for EGR something, asked the dealer how much it'll be to fix it, they said an arm and a leg. But on that route of honestly, they also said it wouldn't affect the car (right?).

Anyways, I cleared the code and it hasn't come back since.

Although when I Google the code it comes up with "o2 sensor signal biased / stuck rich bank 1 sensor 2"

Still hard to help you much. Can't see what if anything has been done to your car.

I would go with a leak. Something has come loose, or a gasket is leaking.... Check all your tube connections

Roman-dude 12-30-2015 08:09 PM

Thanks. The only thing the car had is a cai.

Well first off, I would just do it yourself...

and yea, shouldn't be an issue other than a nuisance.
