Yea its like if he dosn't reply within 30 seconds he took off with the 25 bucks or something. I think I would go nuts if I had to reply to every fucking order like this all the time.

Well, John is an honest businessman, no question about that. But, I can say from experience that his order processing system leaves a lot to be desired. Things seem to get dropped. I'm certain it is accidental, he's not running to Mexico with my $25.

got mine will put it on in like 20 min. and it is small i thought it would be bigger. god i hope this fucking works

I installed mine and for the second time today I'm speechless. My car smoked constantly and nothing I've ever tried has helped including bnoons bolt. Well, this little kooky thing worked. Granted, I still have Bnoons bolt installed and also a 900 RPM idle, but that never stopped the smoke before. I could usually smell some burning oil through the vents idling before the smoke would start, but nothing at all so far. I'll give it a few days, but so far, such a simple fix seems so amazing to me.

Well before I installed mine I uped the idle to 900 because my stiff mm was causing to many vibrations. I did that last week and it seemed to stop the smoke so I dont know if this fix worked for me or not yet. I will say that it dont smoke anymore even with the restrictor in place so, so far so good. I will have to say that it did absolutley NOTHING for my PT knock. I am still getting it when cruising down the highway. I even got knock as high as 5.9 today while driving to town.

Great to hear that PTP has fixed your smoking issue. I was worried that you may have had a scored turbo seal with all the smoking you had. I wonder what was the first speechlees event. LOL!!! Again, great to hear this fix is helping you out.

throw some more wood on the fire we aint done smoking yet....... well put it on drove bout 40 miles stoped to get some eats thought i was good went to pull off looked back smoke every where. didnt work 1 bit for me. fuck my life

so for those of us who have a 2nd catch can on that line...will it make any difference???

i will still occasionally smoke at idle in rare conditions and i get oil in my FMIC pipes. Nothing pre-turbo though. Will installing this give me any benefit..?

I probably have mine sitting in my mailbox i just have not checked it yet lol

i installed mine today as well - i let it idle for a nice long period of time and revved it occasionally to burn off any smoke left in my exhaust system/turbo - each time i did the smoke was less - after 30 or so min of it i can still get a little puff when i go for a long idle but it has definitely been reduced dramatically - i hope it gets better b/c i actually put a cat back into my system to increase back pressure so i'd have less smoke & i'd really like to go back to being catless - i wonder if this is going to be the same fix mazda has? - it took me longer then just a min - i was running just a filter here with my output on the intake plugged - i had to come up with some hose via auto zone

I have the 2nd catch can on that line and so far this has worked for me. That is also in combination with Bnoons bolt and 900 rpm idle though. I'll report back in a few days on how it is holding up.

Thanks for the update, good to see that your smoking issues have stopped mostly now.

Thanks for the update on the smoking issues and give the knock issues some time, it takes a while for the gunk built up in the motor and intake manifold to dissapate some. After about a week of driving around you should notice a reduction in knock, if not I would recommend that you do a intake clean, either sea foam or some other cleaner for the runners in your intake manifold. I will post a how to here on this soon. Thanks.

Give it some time to work, the black smoke is because your running rich, not because you have a smoking turbo. Does it smoke under idle? Black, is a different problem all together. Might be a good idea to seafoam your car or get some cleaner into the intake manifold to clean up the oil debris from all the time that the car has been building it up under the current PCV system. I will get a how to put up very soon on this. Give the mod some time to work, it should fix the smoking idle issues right away but after that it takes a good 100 miles to get the rest of the gunk out. Keep me posted on the progress of the car, thanks.

It should have some benifit, it will at least make the cars PCV system work the way it suppose to, thats a benifit if you ask me.

We have seen it get better the longer its installed in the car. So far it looks like its working very well. The real test will be when you install the catless system back into the car. Keep us posted on these results, thanks.

Thats really not that bad, give it some time and seafoam the motor and you should see damn near all of it gone. Thanks for posting the video and getting the results back to us.

If oil is backing up into the turbo, couldn't that cause the seals in the turbo to go bad over time?

People that have had their cars smoking for a long time could very well have fried their turbos.

i got a reworked turbo and i hope that its not that. maybe i will go change my oil to 5 or 10w 40. which is best? maybe a catch can too. im not giving up on the mazda just yet.

To be honest I don't know why, that is why we have not posted much info on it.

1.0 to .5 was the norm, but this is on stock boosted applications, it might be higher on those running higher boost. We have a big turbo car lined up from some testing so we can see if they are going to need a different restriction than that of the stock turbo cars. I have close to 100 hours of additional testing I need to get done with the pressure transducers due to the knock reduction we are starting to see, so its going to take a while to get all of it done. Hope this helps.



Got you taken care of, let them know that we are testing some applications for bigger turbos and higher boost levels. Stock turbo should never see any issues with this mod installed and if the pressure were in fact to high we would have seen leaking seals by now, which we have not. You should see the pressure levels of the system when you plug the breather hole.... LOL. We did this to get a base line and found that the system can take over 25 psi internally and not cause any seal issues or problems other than pushing oil past the rings. Hope that helps.



Trust me, some of us feel you. This is why we rushed the part to the public with out the patent on it yet. The process has started (notorized with date) so we are at least protected now, I just hope it doesn't end up costing $1000's of dollars to finish the process.
so we will boost less after this part is installed??

It actually was something critical. He wanted to test the production pieces in a local car (mine in this case) before shipping them out. My pump failed very quickly. Stripping it down revealed the issue. John quickly determined what needed to be done, put new internals into my pump and I am running perfectly now. Even an improvement over the 1st generation PG internals I had been running for a year.

how long have you been running these v2 internals? and how many miles? little worried that your pump failed so quickly...
