Default Is there a performance boost using a SRI without AccessPort?
From what I've heard, without an accessport, any performance modifications you make on your MS3 are pointless. The ECU overrides everything and basically defeats the mods. Is this correct? I don't plan on modding my stock MS3 like crazy, I mainly just would like a new intake, without added cost! Possible?

The accessport lets you take full advantage of the mods that you put on by reflashing the ecu and also allows you to monitor parameters that you should keep an eye on. If you want the most out of your car invest in one.

I ran for a long time with just an intake and a tip with no accessport. Yes, there was an increase in power but the AP really opens it up.
