What's up everyone, I'm just doing an intro to myself. I recently bought myself a Mazdaspeed6 (pics soon to come) its dark purple. I join because I know the benefits to a forum.

Anyways, about the car it's completely stock for now, and it's developed a misfire I had one of the other techs at my work check it out and it's a misfire number one. I'm pretty sure it need a tune up and injector cleaning I want to do seafoam and take the injectors out to get the carbon off the tip but I haven't done this yet because I dont know if the injectors need a seal kit to be reinstalled like most other DI motors. I assume yes but can't find any online and I've been to busy to visit the dealership.

Other then that its a really fun car but I feel As if its tuned for an inexperienced turbo AWD 6 speed driver and I have ideas on how to change that.

For one, either the waste gate or bov opens at high revs. I think they did this so drivers don't overspool the turbo and destroy it. so a chip to change waste gate parameters and an HKS bov is a must.

Another example is that the car under steers agin safer then oversteer? But that might be the driver.

witch leads me to the question as to why would anyone want to disable the AWD? I would not have even considered this car to buy if it didn't have AWD.

Other then the chip and BOV, I'll be getting a cobb exhaust not the full one just the cat back, a HPFP and maybe a high flow air filter but I'm still undecided on that. Some dark shaded rims and new simi race springs and new shocks. Thes things aren't going to happen over night but theyll happen.
