(Thread Starter) | Not Ranked : 0 score I am usually monitoring live data prior to logging, mostly just sitting on KR or something, then I will hit the middle button to start a log. Recently, I have been having an issue where I press the button to log and it kinda freezes for a second. It switches to say "logging" vs. monitoriing, but the data goes to "--" and after a second or two it says communicatino with ECU lost. Same screen as if you leave it on monitor then turn the car off. I have to back all the way out to the main menus and go back into Live Data to reset it. When I get home it has created a datalog file, but the size is "N/A" and there is no data in the log. Is does this intermittenly and doesn't appear to be related to connection issues or anything. I check the cables and they are all plugged in and secure. I can have this issue, then without touching anything, after backing out and back into the live data and collect a normal log and everything works as it should. I started seeing this about a month or more ago and it would happen very rarely. Now it is to a point where almost every other log I do this happens. It is very annoying seeing that I dont' have a lot of opportunity to take logs and seems like whenever I really want to see my data is the time I look down and its all error'ed out. Anyway, sorry for the mini rant. Just curious if anyone has ideas of what is going on or what I need to do to fix the issue. Thanks,

It is probably due to the beta software/maps. I have the same issue.

I had that same issue the first time I tried to take a log after updating ATR, AP Manager, the AP and flashing a beta map. However, after that one time, I haven't had a problem taking a datalog at all (only problems I have had are accidentally pressing the center button twice when starting so it will log for like a second, or pressing the button mid run...) |

Thanks for the replies guys. Good to know it doesn't sound like it is a problem specific to my AP. Guess just wait it out until they update again.

I got the same problem a month ago. It was after I switched to beta version. It seems to be fine nowadays. I didn't try anything different.
