Nope no check engine light any ideas as to why this happens? Could it be the ecu or fuel issues it only has 30k on it

Check all connections, make sure everything is tight. Could be a few things. Best to get a device to monitor. Also you should think about getting hpfp internals.

could be a small boost or vacuum leak too, especially since it started after tmic instal..

| Not Ranked : 0 score ^^ This. Did you have this problem before the tmic install? If not, then it's not the plugs. Either vacuum leak or fuel pump shitting the bed. But no way of knowing without a monitoring device.

Don't know if the AP would would log with a cx7 or not. Try looking at the tmic connections. If that's the only difference you've made, check all the connections. If they look good swap back to stock tmic to see if you still have the problem. I found my cold pipe connection nearly came off the other week. Didn't notice any issues really, but could have been a problem. Another thing to try is to drive more than 1 mile to work. Wail on it from time to time to clean the carbon built up. Don't know if you sit a lot in your commute, but you could be experiencing heat soak too.

Fuel pump should be fine. I am thinking the intercooler hoses might have a leak. The factory ones did pop off on our CX-7. Replaced with aftermarket ones. SU and Corksport sell them. The other possibility is the TMIC i cracked. Is it new? Try putting the stock TMIC on too. Resetting ECU again. The other idea i have is it is the VVT fucking up. This was our problem with ours. Under 70K, free replacement. There is a link to the TSB on this, and a cold start rattle to signify the problem. When the engine is cold, also feel the timing chain for slack. These are unrelated to the mods, but can be what is wrong.

Thanks for all the info. I checked the hoses and everything seems to be snug. I just took it to the dealership to get the ecu updated hopefully it will relearn driving with the mods. The tmic is brand new from ets. It was only doing it at low rpms on it only did it twice so hopefully this will resolve the problem. It only did it at idle then when you hit the gas it hesitated. Seems to be fine now I'll keep everyone posted if it happens again. Gracias everybody Seemed like the fuel pump wasn't sending enough fuel at idle since there's so much more air flowing out. There was a tsb report about the fuel pump not responding fast enough so hopefully the update will resolve the problem Last edited by FreshcutzZ; 08-29-2012 at 07:58 AM. So I've installed a cpe cai, ets intercooler, cpe catback exhaust. Can anyone tell me the benefits about installing a bov or is it just for sound.

Only if it is leaking, does it need to be replaced. You will want a BPV, full recirc. Read the links in my sig, lots of great info.
