Default Another BNR S3
Just finished up my S3 install. Started about 8pm after the baby went to bed and finished at 4am. Car runs, no leaks (so far), and minimal loss of blood on my part. Grimmspeed and HTP battery tray added some time but it all came out good. Going to bed now, I will post updates when I clean things up tomorrow and get started on a tune with Lex.

Congrats on getting it in! Tuning should be lots of fun! Only thing holding you guys back in Cali is the heat and the fuel The power curve on this turbo will make you a very happy camper!

I love the power curve of the BNR and the extra 60hp over the k04 certainly helps!

Mainly just a nice tractable power curve that pulls to redline. Planning on a reverse taper boost curve, I dont want to build a block so tons of low end torque is not in my plans.

Congrats on the successful install. Lex has plenty of experience with the Beaner Turbo, Grimpseed EBCS, crappy Cali gas, and the August heat.

I'm such an idiot. I manage to do a flawless S3 install solo until late in the morning. Now this morning after a full night of sleep I go to install the 3bar MAP and end up cutting off the locking tangs on the Bosch MAP because it wont go into the OEM harness.............the MattJackson jumper harness is sitting 6 feet away on the work bench. It fits really tight and probably wont fall off but now I'm contemplating ordering another MAP just so it locks in properly to the jumper harness. I'm not touching the car the rest of today, what a retard.

I would go ahead and get another MAP sensor for piece of mind.
