Oh ok. I thought it was common practice to disregard the 10% in normal gas because of how inconsistent it was. Still learning .

Edit: that's basically what youre saying.

This shit looks awesome. fuck a 3071 Im def going BNR S3. Now its time to save moniez.

Are you guys not running into the same probs we have with the restrictions of the k04 b.c of the housing? how are the bats when running 20+lbs, is meth a must? How many people have blown with the S3, I believe I recall one. You guys arent worried about it creating too much load on the rods or its been pretty safe with a good tune? atvfreek

I haven't had any issues with my BNR. It will hold 25 no problem right to redline, but I have it taper from 22-25 at redline. This keeps the tq low enough to hopefully keep the rods in one piece, and also helps with traction in the lower gears....I would highly recommend running meth or e85 or you will be very limited at the power you can make. Pump gas and BT just sucks. Lol. I don't think I will ever go back to just pump gas on this car.

Ohhhhh atvfreek the temps are getting cooler!! It was 58 degrees when I started my car this morning. My car wants to dyno now. Hahaha

Probably not until the end of the month, when I get a free weekend. But I haz racecar map ready, and I have been practicing brake boosting. Haha. That kids car is a beast though and definitely a factory freak. He just dynoed 388hp on our local dyno that reads almost on point with the VD 1.01 cf. And using that correction, it looks like I'm at 370hp, so it's gonna be close. I might be able to eek a little more out of it, just need some time to play around a little more with the map.

U go through more meth than i do e85 lol. Post pictures of the mustang with no headlights after u suck them out when u hit 4th gear.

With 3 gallons of e85 you can make 370ish hp too. You won't be able to run much more e than that though. Idc will already be about maxed at that power and no meth or 5th port

whats the difference in max timing between the intank-meth and without? I guess I'm assuming the intank-meth lets you push timing a few degrees higher and nets you that 20hp?

I run the same timing curve on both maps, the in tank meth allows more boost.

With one gallon of meth he should be fine. I think it's like 50 percent or higher is when shit starts to go down.

atvfreek

Just wanted to let you know. I did a little better of a job mounting my meth nozzle and finally did some pulls with her tonight with 93 oct tune. Boost starts at 25.32 psi and is only falling to 20.58 by 6700 rpm. No too bad. 60-100 ranged from 5.0 seconds to 4.9. I wonder what e85 will do. I still want to see this BNR in action tho. I want a ride along on the 13th! hahaha.

Nice, our cars will probably run pretty close. My DD map with just meth injection runs about that same time and my 25psi map sits at like 4.6-4.7. If I run a couple gallons of in tank meth or e85 I could get it a little faster, but I'm not too concerned about going much faster. The car is quick and fun, and still perfect for hauling the kids around.

I have e85 loaded up right now. We will see what she does later. I wish mine would run 4.6-4.7 but I dont think she has it in her. Id have to shed some weight. Only a few more weeks.

Sadly, I did some logs/VD's on the 93 runs and the e85 runs on similar night conditions and got pretty much the exact same results for 93 and e85. interesting..Also since I have no idea what to be using any more for the VD due to the changes made in the new version. Here is all 4 runs. First two are e85 mix. last two 93 map.

It would look that way but nope two different maps. Yeah justin added more timing in for the e85 map. Dont know if we should lean it out more since my car seems to enjoy that. But first two logs were e85 second 2 were 93. A few months ago the e85 map was making more power than the 93. Now they are pretty much dead even..

It may be that your 93/meth map is a little more efficient. If I remember right, we had pushed timing to the max I feel comfortable running without proving it out on a good dyno, but it may be at the max already. Can you email me those logs and I can check them out when I get back from vacation.
