Did you have any issue with your wg not seating onto the housing to where the vband won't go over. It's like that Lil insert into the eh is to thick.... Gonna have to shave it I think..

I know you do but there's to much of a gap so the clamp won't go over.. It's like that insert is to thick. Even tried it with their supplied flange if you needed to weld it into something and it doesn't seat there either.

I think mines fine. The last time I took it off it does look like it leaked. Where I forgot but I think it was the elbow to the housing

You have to push the wg pretty hard on the seat so that you push the wg valve in enough to get the clamp on.

I had to grind a good amount of material away on the fitting that hits the clamp. I agree, atp needs to do some more r&d.

I could barely get the v band on that damn elbow with oil line. You have to spin the line to the perfect stop to get the clamp on.

I did not have much of an issue with either I took care of the WG first while allowing the tightened oil line hand from the turbo, next I looped it around and installed to the fitting already installed on the block.

I did no modifcation. I did try to coil it while it was out of the car. As it sits there are no kinks and the entry point to the block is the lowest point of the line.

I did a little bit but nothing that couldn't be tuned out. I have the 14psi spring setup. Running 26 psi with no issues now. I'm at like 40-50% WG duty.

Catless, along with DNP manifold.

How do you have your EBCS setup? Per grimmspeeds or perrins instructions?

As per njspeed 3 we have come to conclude that your coating is what is giving you trouble. You probably need to file away around the v band to get it to sit properly. It's the coating that is making it thicker and giving you issues.

I'm pretty sure its seated properly since you have to push it so the fire ring pushes up into gate. But ill look into it

The coating added some extra thickness to where the flanges meet. This is what's giving you trouble. Don't use a file use some sandpaper nothing too rough. Remove some material and test fit, repeat process until the clamp sits properly.

I think it's on fine, the coating is not as thick as one might think. But I shall see n rule it out as the problem when I get a chance.

Could it be I'm using a 10psi spring and it's not strong enough?

OK so another little update. Tweaked the map a bit cause i was getting consistent 400+ torque numbers on vd so i lowered timing there and played with boost. And this is what it yielded. atvfreek its gonna be one hell of a close run. I took the gear out longer but for some reason after this point i guess something with the road i used, the lines just darted up to like 540whp lol. Maybe once its dry out ill take it to my usual spot and hopefully vd plot looks better. Ignore the afr, i hadnt done a log since my new meth controller.

Its gonna be lol. Im trying to do what you did and get on the dyno and actually be able to see what actually nets me gains and what not. And play with it to get a hair bit more whp and keep torque low. If i could get 415whp with like 380 torque i would be a happy man.

That probably will be the more realistic numbers...like ive said the bigger the turbo, you make torque higher up and less than a smaller turbo was. Usually the HP is whats going to be much higher.
