Default Help Choosing Internals

Today I got the spare motor torn down, will need some crank polishing and undersized bearings but other than that itís good for a rebuild.

Iíve been reading up a lot on connecting rods, but Im just not sure which is the most proven and cost effective rod. My aim with this motor is 550-600WHP with a Precision 6062. This will be running 93 in the stock fuel tank along with a port injection manifold and separate fuel cell with E85 or 100% methanol (havenít decided yet but my current meth setup has got me hooked).

Iím between K1 H-Beam rods and Manley H-Beam rods, also donít know if the 625 rod bolts are necessary at this power level. Iím trying to keep the build somewhat economical, otherwise I would just go with Carrillo rods lol

I know for a fact Iím using L19 head and main studs, Iíve been told by multiple people to skip the ARP2000 studs. With such a large turbo I should be running considerably less boost but better safe than sorry.

Another thing is pistons, Iím not sure how much power the stock pistons can handle, but if I should replace these then I was thinking of Manley Platinum pistons? Or is there something else a lot of people go with?

Other than that I think Iím pretty set, I know the turbo is very large for this HP level but I want plenty of overhead, I canít tell you how many times Iíve blown up these smaller turbos simply because they were working so hard.
