i could add some pictures

That tap i did break in the tread and took me half a day to remove by welding and grinding around....(I find it funny when peoples use a dremel in the garage instead of a real grinder but for that precise job it made it!

not decided yet if i go red or refresh the black paint for the VC.
Any suggestions ?
( On my old light grey ms3, i did paint the IM and accessory gold with a black VC but with the 6 being black, it wasn't bad but i don't want to re-use gold for this one...

guys you aren't helping much for the color, Anyway i have both VC, i can swap it later....

I found another thing while doing it...Last time i had a hard time sealing the front of the engine and din't succeeded perfectly. Since i had the crank keyed, it also add a hole in the pulley to drain oil on the side of the key way.....If i don't seal the crank bolt, it would probably leak by there?

Fstrnyou i think you did the keying too, did you seal the bolt at the washer end ?

After a long while i finally took time to start the engine swap

And... yes i ordered a new AC condenser with an o-ring set

I slowly swap some parts from the rolling engine to the new one while trying to clean and paint some rusted ones...more pictures to come.
(For you from the south, it may look like a piece of junk but here it is hard to keep a car clean. Driving it during winter time with the salt on the road is destructive but driving an awd during winter worth the risks.)

Not much update but the new engine is in, and finally up and running after a bad wiring harness and a blown fuse.....
i did also figured out that cart wheels are ok to move the car frame when the engine is out but cannot handle the weight of if with the engine in...;0)

A connector was not locking so i tried to re-use the harness from my burned 3 for the coils and cps. that harness was looking nice and untouched from the fire but maybe a short elsewhere made it bad because it was impossible to get ignition...
After checking and replacing crank and cam sensor, i checked compression for a possible timing error and finally confirmed rpm reading was ok so there must be something else....i put back the 6 harness to test and it started right away!

i also had a blown fuse on my methanol controler. this one is using maf reading and affect it when the controller isn,t powered...

i still have work to do around before hitting the street. among them is the need to make some air diffuser to force all possible flow into the ic and rad. and make some other to avoid making a hot air intake....

i,m still surprise of that sound of a bb turbo when you shutdown the engine and it keep going for a while....

Your washer bottle is on the Drivers side? With my car its located behind the pass headlight.
The reason Im interested, I purchased a washer bottle from a Hyundai SantaFe to put in the cavity where yours is located for WMI. An OEM bottle that bolts into factory holes would be even sweeter!

There's a Honda washer bottle that mostly bolts right up on the driver's side. I have one that I bought a few years ago but never installed. They're pretty cheap and there's a write-up on MSF somewhere.

The reason Im interested, I purchased a washer bottle from a Hyundai SantaFe to put in the cavity where yours is located for WMI. An OEM bottle that bolts into factory holes would be even sweeter!
as explained above it is a honda civic around 95-2005 not sure...i had to put it there because of the fmic piping on the left side.

my other problem was the meth tank against air filter....it is tight but it fit.

i just made 1 test run of about 5 km, and the wastegate hose rubbed against manifold and burned....
So i went back to the garage to repair, did de rear axle seal at the same time....

Once everything is back together, i tried to do another run but....now the car is doing again the sputter problem i had at the beginning.....it is similar to when i replaced the coil harness...It runs like a 2stroke with blown spark plug....i need to pump gaz to keep it running while doing violent backfires....
i shaked all the wiring around coils
i added a ground directly from the plate above the tih to the batterie
i disconnected the meth controller to make sure the maf isn't bothered.
I got g/s reading,
hpfp is reading also in the 1000 and above. Pressure move following throttle...
Compression is ok and equal....(still not seated yet so just 150psi)
The plugs are dark and dusted like a misfiring engine or with too much fuel.
AFR seem to read lean when it makes backfires but when engine is sputtering, it may not tell much...

It act like if the charge piping isn't connected but i can at some point spool turbo and get the bpv to open...

I will make further investigation but i was clueless yesterday

No one have ideas or suggestion about my issue ?

Is there another ground that could be missing for firing if the one above the hpfp is ok ?

Well, i feel dumb....i checked it again yesterday, inspected every connections and i was way out of the real problem all that time....
Most of the time, i was checking for spark after tests just on #4 because it is easier to reach with ic pipes above other coils....
It turned out 3 of my brand new itv22 gaved up after about 15-30min of run time while #4 was still working ok...

i just saw it when i finally decided to check spark on all 4 at the same time, only #2 and #4 was working and #2 was just barely making a white spark....
I put back 4 old plugs with my own coils and the engine started right away....!

The engine was running but i could heard something like a misfire when releasing throttle and it finally triggered a cam sensor code...

Replaced the sensor and loosen the wire harness...now it is running fine in the garage, once i have a chance i will do a test run....

I didn't seen completely blown spark plugs on a 4 strokes very often....I read about Chinese copy on the market...maybe it was this or maybe the cam sensor made misfire and the misfire explosions break the plugs like a 2 strokes running bad...

All that time...but i still feel afraid at some point that spark problems come back....

Nah, I think there is an ownership of gay being expressed. IE: It's not my gay. It's your gay.
