Hi, MSF Community!

Just wanted to quickly introduce myself as this is a first post and for more to come. Always been an MS3 fan and had to pick up a 2013 ms3. Have plenty of plans for it but will strictly keep it as a DD with spirited intents. Previous to this I've owned a 2004 Mazda3s (pictures to come). Been always a Honda head but was easily convinced after driving the hatch that this was the vehicle for me.

But quick question:

I'm picking up an ARK CBE. I wanted to purchase a COBB AP in concurrent with the CBE but not sure if proper funding is there yet...But is it ok to install the CBE without tuning/remapping the car?

Before you get massively flamed out of here for not doing your research...

1st a catback will really not show any gains in power after the 400hp mark. So its just sound.

2nd - you will be fine.

If i were you id buy an ap and leave the catback at the warehouse.

Ill third this but for me I did an axleback muffler, then the mid pipe and now the test pipe and now I have a AP and I don't regret it at all.

Enjoy that car and whatever you do to it.

Make sure you do get the AP though.

AP first! even though I do not have on myself yet. But If I had a choice between AP and an exhaust system, I'd definitely go AP

Buy an AP first. You should have enough money left over for some internals also.
