2010 w/tech key programming Long story short, I lost my key fob. I have the spare, however, I do not want to be SOL if I lose this one. I am ordering a new key fob and key from the dealer. They want to charge 1 hour or $99 to program the key. Can I do this myself and avoid the labor charge? |
I haven't lost a key for my Mazda, but in experience, they tie the key fobs to the ecu. I think you can buy generic keys via eBay, but I suggest just get but a couple keys done at once, cuz the labor charge is fixed regardless the number of keys Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2 |
