accesport question

Im fairly new to the game and I will b purchasing an MS3 next year. Does an AP do what, for example, a gReddy boost co troller can do? Or do they do 2 completely things?

First let me start by saying this is a terrible first post. 2nd if you do pick up a MS3 and decide to join this forum (if your anus lasts that long after this post) you need to do a LOT of reading. All of the info you just asked about can be had by just reading some stickies, browsing the forum and its almost 2 million posts, or even reading @Raider; signature and @Haltech; welcome email. And just so I can stir up the sharks... @chimmike; @CWP_MS3;
LET THE FUN BEGIN.
Also OP to answer your question after throwing you into a fiery death, no they are not the same at all. Enjoy your stay at MSF!

Yet another awesome first post / thread... :(

Thanks for hazing jerk.If i didn't know any better Id say ur a subaru owner for being such an asshole. That being said, the only terrible post is the one not posted. Did do a litl research before asking but my main question i was trying to get answered is if you can controll boost by gear on either one. Ik the controller cant map ur ecu, but theres no way of me knowing the damn product in detail unless i order the fucking thing.

mxlplx71 12-01-2012 12:57 PM

look up cobb and read, or call them.

zoomzoom12 12-01-2012 12:59 PM

Perhaps reading the fucking knowledgebase, searching, and reading would be of benefit to you. Check your shit, brownie. We have all the info you want, you just need to make an effort. Read around. We are a tight family and are for the more advanced, performance-based owner. But we do not handhold brownie takers unwilling to read the knowledgebase, welcome pm and email, or search.

1. Grammar fail.
2. The only bad post is the post that you post; attempting (inarticulately) to ask questions about a product, the details of which are public knowledge if you spend even a modicum of time with everyone's best friend, Google.
3. Making a dumb post and fighting back against the people on MSF is going to get you into a world of hurt.
4. DO SOME FUCKING RESEARCH. THE ANSWERS ARE OUT THERE, AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE IF YOU SPEND ANY TIME AT ALL LOOKING.

Noobs will be noobs... Don't worry. Most of us have done it at least once. Take it like a man.

Dmurray06 12-01-2012 01:11 PM

Hahaha.....you say you searched eh?!

I think that is a seman topped pile of bullshit.

Bend over op, your gonna get ravaged.

Will do buckeroo. 1 thing that is apparent is the almost immediate attention to the hpfp. What are the rammifications on the warranty? Logical sense would be that it voids it rite if any mishaps were to happen?

mxlplx71 12-01-2012 01:12 PM

troll doesn't even own a ms3.

Dmurray06 12-01-2012 01:13 PM

Also...just to add something...because so cal.

mxlplx71 12-01-2012 01:14 PM

finger it out by reading

Raider 12-01-2012 01:16 PM

Warranty? What's that?

Grammar fail critique coming from a post with run-on sentences and the inability to seperate independent clauses. Join a sentence structure forum and then correct my grammar....but I'll take the rest of your advice with a smile, MS3 style!

Raider 12-01-2012 01:18 PM

Sergio,

I recommend you go to your messages, and read Haltech's welcome. Really, do do it now.

Ray Danger 2020 12-01-2012 01:19 PM

Warranty is all on the dealer. Some places you could go in with a different turbo and be ok. Some places will void u for putting the wrong wax on (exaggeration but u get the point). Better to just do ur shit correctly and not go zzb and then no need for a warranty.

No sir I do not, but the indication of me searching through forums would be a clear sign of my seriousness to purchase one. Just waiting to pay my car off in Jan. Besides, do you buy shoes before trying them on?
