air leak after install cobb intake?

Hi guys,

I noticed there is a "si....." sound when i push down the gas pedal and the sound gone right after I released the gas pedal.

Is this is normal or it is a actually air leak from somewhere?

Thanks!

Where are you from dude? Either English isn't your first language, or you're stupid.

But probably both. Since you asked that question....

Do you also have a hard time reading? If you looked around this website even a little bit (or had any general intelligence) you'd realize that more air through a bigger intake is going to make a whooshing sound...

Siiiiiiiii amigooooo. Lol

Sounds like you needa read and learn before you mod anything. Hell you may need a instructional video of proper wheel removal

Really? Because...if you look above, where I used the word "whooshing", you'll see that I just did it. And English is my third language...

What's your native language?

TIS

stevencxr 06-21-2013 02:30 PM

my native language is Chinese, came to Canada in 2005, that when I start learning "real English"... all English I've learnt back in China is what people called "chinglish?" haha

LumberJack 06-21-2013 02:36 PM

Holy shit balls, troll I hope. This is fucking comedic entertainment at it's finest!

jk_ms3 06-21-2013 09:23 PM

You're going to want to park it, put it up on cinder blocks, and then take the front wheels off. Then get in and start it up. Roll down all of your windows except the back passenger side. Set the fan to about 1/2. Give it some gas. If you still hear the whooshing sound, it's cause you're hearing the turbo spool which is completely normal after you install an intake.

Voltron 06-22-2013 10:26 AM

You should hear how my intake goes.....shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh h. and then i turn the bitch off.
