All turn signals are not working. Possible BCM issue? As of a few days ago. All my turn signals just stopped working. As far as I am aware, there is no fuse for the actual turn signals and the hazard light fuse is still good. I'm suspecting that it's an issue with the Body Control Module (BCM).. Has this happened to anyone before? I have found used BCM's on ebay for cheap and I hear that it is super expensive to go to the dealer and fix. I have a 2010 mazdaspeed3 w/ tech package so it has the keyless start. My worry is that if I buy a used BCM that I'll have to get it reprogrammed because of the keyless start. Can anyone confirm this? or is the BCM not associated with the keyless start. |
any CEL? The 2010 cx7 made it 1 or 2 times after a hard start. some of the BSM / TCS and ABS lights came on and i noticed the flasher was no longer working either. I solved it by disconnecting the battery for a while a reprogramming the clock spring by turning fullly left and then right with a pause in between. That was explained in the car owner manual for a battery replacement... Recently, after a bearing job the clock spring signal stopped working...i tryed this again without luck. I checked everything and magically, after playing around the BCM module it returned again...I suspect the BCM connector or inside solder to be loose... Maybe you can try to shake the wires to see if it point out the BCM...in the cx7, it was on the left side behind the dash but not sure for the speed |
No CEL, I'll probably try to check the connections to the BCM later tonight. |
I haven't looked at my car but most cars do have a fuse. You may want to check your manual to see if you have one fuse that operates 2 controls. |
I found some info that the turn signal is tied into the brake light fuse however my brake lights are working fine..... I'll check the fuse anyways when I get a chance. |
Just remove the mazda emblems, put BMW emblems in place, problem solved. |
i don't see a hitch but sometimes a trailer conversion module may fail and make troubles too... |

Could be a bad ground. Get your meter out and check for power at the light and work backwards otherwise you're shooting in the dark. |
