allow myself to introduce myself...

Hello every one. Ive been lurking on here and learning for quite some time. I originaly started with a 08 mazdaspeed that i put 100000 miles on in 4 years i left it stock, and about 8 months ago traded for my 2012 cwp. Within the first few hundred miles I added a sri and race pipe... That was ok for a while. My car currently has 14,000 miles on it and yesterday i bit the bullet and ordered a ton of stuff for it. I ordered a cobb ap, corksport catted down pipe, corksport axle back exhaust, sure rear motor mount ( just because corksport was out of stock) , corksport polished turbo inlet pipe, autotech internals, and a corksport top mount intercooler. I absolutely cant wait to get this stuff put on the car. Im really curious as to how all this stuff is going to change how the car performs. It should be a beast.

Cool welcome! Please make sure to upgrade your fuel pump before you add the DP.

Cheers,

Umm...welcome to the forum...guy who's been around since '08. You'll def get a lot out of all the $$$$$ you just dropped on some of the most expensive retail bolt-ons for our platform. But you'll get even more if you got a few bucks left over to donate, make some friends on here, and get some of your local Nator friends to help you put all that stuff on properly. Then you'll find there's more wealth in info than the money you just dropped to tune your car properly. You're only regret will be not donating sooner so you could have saved money on the parts.
Anyway, like I said, donate and we're all here for ya brother!

Welcome!

I will definately do internals first thing. I plan on donating soon, and this forum has helped me out alot. My actual plan is me and a friend are gonna do internals, make sure it holds pressure pull it right back in the shop and start putting every thing on at once. And i figured i would get flamed for the sure stuff but so far i have had good luck out of it. When i ordered the intake and race pipe from them months ago i read of nothing but praise.

Why does everyone dis the Dure RMM, I've had mine for a year and its treated me well. I suspect everyone that hates on them has a dogbone.

Get rid of the SURE motor mount. They will fail on you. I have seen it with mine own eyes.

Install. E-Tune. WIN.

So wrong; mine's 80 duro.

That's just the sound I make when I put my flamesuit on.

Welcome. Sounds like youre a brand whore. I wouldve opted for a JBR realman-duro motor mount (plus its cheaper). But to each his own. Only reason i have my Streetunit RMM is because i got it for freeee lol.

Good list of mods though. You'll be just about fully bolted all at once.

Because failures...?

When was the last time you saw a JBR mount fail?

JgamB 04-23-2013 05:21 PM

Just keep the stock mount, 17mm and 19mm sockets, loctite, breaker bar, and torque wrench with your spare tire kit, and everything will be fine.

(I kid. I have no beef with Sure or their bad parts/service if that was the case. I'm just poking fun)

Congratulations on the parts and here's hoping you put it all together nicely. If you donate to the site you'll probably get faster answers if you hit one of those "oh shit" snags, just fyi.

The Nut 04-23-2013 05:29 PM

I've never seen any mount (save the OEM one) fail.

I had a SU PMM fail on me last year but they did replace it for free.
