So i finished it this after noon. New 3inch pipe with a 2.6613 insert tacked where the maf is. Made it a little longer, one piece thats bent and got a 3inch to 2 1/2 reducer coupler on it as well. No more check engine light.

May I be the first to say that it looks GREAT... and I hope it works out for you.

just get a air straightener and your good man good work

Bucker 07-21-2011 04:38 PM

Good to hear.

Fwiw, the K&N typhoon does not have an air straightener, and when Corksport was questioned about theirs coming loose (air straighter within the maf housing), they suggested it wasn't needed.

Yea it's running fine. No stutters or anything.

DerrMS3 07-21-2011 06:55 PM

That's impressive. Good work!

Rich-PMS 07-21-2011 09:35 PM

Looks good.

I used a dab of gorilla glue to hold the splitter to the MAF housing on my corksport set up. It came loose and fell into the filter causing random hesitations.

it would never pass through the MAF housing, so no worries about the turbo sucking it up.
