Just Photography and the MS3 for me. My job barely allows time for either one.

moomooz12 07-15-2012 10:59 PM

My hobbies are

My girlfriend (4 months pregnant =D).
Family (2 sisters, one brother).
Running (usually 18-21 miles a week).
School (Computer Science BA, senior).
Weight Lifting (Barely a hobby....).
Sleeping.

Been a drummer for 8 years. 4 of which were in the garage, the last 4 have been doing session, recording, free lance work. I also like to think i can play guitar and do recordings haha. i've probably spent more on the drums / recording gear than the car... granted that shit adds up over the years haha.

This isn't even half of my drums, its just the set i use to play gigs. Moving these bad boys around is main reason i bought the ms3, something fun to haul the drums around in and tear the streets up.

I am a photographer myself, I am just starting to do more with video; nothing too serious right now mostly just YouTube. It's quite amazing how things are becoming more and more multimedia oriented.

I play drums first and foremost, but I am capable with a harmonica, piano/keys, guitar, bass, violin, trumpet and soon I'll start playing the sax :)

My 'other' instruments are nothing worthy of pictures, but here is my Mapex Meridian Maple kit..with my 14x8 custom(self built) snare..

God..Geocaching..a term I hadn't heard of in a while

Short version of a long story:

Didn't know what geocaching was, stumbled upon one while tripping mushrooms with a friend(yes we were all young once) and I thought this little box had some serious fucking life secrets enclosed.

Always been a gear head but took up golf about 16 yrs ago and as addicting as modding any of your vehicles.

kmpeeps 07-20-2012 09:03 AM

Main hobby, photography. Been doing it for the last 8 years. After that, comic books, where most of my money goes. Been dancing a lot lately, Latin and some ballroom. That accompanied with mountain biking has done wonders for my health, I'm insulin dependant diabetic. Then after all that's thru, I enjoy a nice glass of neat single malt scotch.

Forgot to add Minecraft to the list. That's an addiction that consumes the most time, besides working 60 hour weeks.

Motorized vehicles is a big one for me. Been riding motorcycles since age 7 and cant seem to get rid of my old TA I've had since HS graduation, want to do a lot of things I dont have the money for.

Football is huge, still play flag despite 2 torn ACL's and Roll Tide BTW!
I also play basketball, golf and tennis. I love me some sports. I try to stay pretty fit as well.

Dr. Speed 07-23-2012 10:44 AM

Yeah, cars and stars are my big hobbies... I have many, many more as well but they often have to take a back seat because of lack of time and money. One day I'll have more of both ;)

SRTie4k 07-23-2012 11:00 AM

I've also taken up fabrication recently. It's a lot of fun and pretty awesome being able to build your own parts when you need them. It has helped me in my project to fighter my TL1000S.

Started with this:

Hiring PIs to catch my bitch of a wife working so I can get out from under this $2000/month alimony bullshit. The bitch has two masters degrees.

Fuck that dude, i hate how the guys always get fucked in divorces. between alamony and child support, hell your practically paying for them to live. Not against child support dads should support there kids, but fuck in IL they want 20% of your paycheck which = what your child needs + bitches rent/food/cell phone/ whatever the fuck else she wants. /rant

fortressofcomfort 08-24-2012 10:37 AM

My wife is garnishing 57% of my net pay for alimony and child support. RIght, Child Support is fine by me, but a bitch w 2 masters doesn't need 3 years x $2000/month alimony. Now she's going for arrearages. Thank god the federal gov't maxes any court from docking more than 65% of your net pay. Fuck her.

Flight Around TLMA - YouTube

That looks like one damn expensive hobby

MS_Driver 09-17-2012 11:35 AM

Recently got into a new hobby. Wife and I joined this resort and it has been pretty damn cool. It's different - and don't knock it 'till you try it.

Laguna Del Sol
may be NSFW

We took the kids there for 5 nights camping a couple weeks ago and just went up for Nudestock - good bands/music.
