AUTO-BLiP: Any Experience? My cousin runs a supercharged S2000 in Greece, and has this installed on his car: AUTO-BLiP Intelligent Downshifts It's an automatic rev-matching tool that connects to the TPS and clutch/brake switches to blip the throttle on downshifts. He uses it for the track (runs AutoX and goes to the Nurburgring often) and loves it. I drove the car last week and it's an incredibly useful tool when you really want to push it, especially for people who suck at heel-toe or have small feet (*raises hand*). Has anybody heard of this, used it, or know of something similar/cheaper/better? TIS |

So what youre saying is you cant rev match a downshift?? I remember the first time I drove a manual.. |
New driver mod might be cheaper... |
Oh @ANITIX87;. My harassment wasn't enough? |
I test drove a 370z which has this feature and i hated it. If i popped the clutch the drop it into neutral to coast to a red light the RPMs would rev because it thought i was trying to downshift. Didn't even get through the test drive before having to shut it off. |
Why would I automate something I enjoy doing?? It's a manual transmission! |
