That shit would carve up my face. I can't shave 2 days in a row because I'll break out. Best shave I've found (and you should give it a try, I was surprised as hell) is a cheapy, plastic 3-blade disposable bic. I own a Mach 3 turbo. They were OK, but I swear to christ, that Bic is amazing. Oh, and Barbasol. Yeah, buddy.

I know. I can't straight shave every day or my skin hates me. I alternate, electric-straight-electric.

ANOTHER key: electric shave BEFORE you straight shave. That gets most of the painful stubble out of the way, prevents a good bit of irritation. But I'm fuckin serious about the schick hydro 5 blade. MUCH more soothing than the fusion. And I switch blades every week. If that shit ain't diamond-sharp, my skin gets fucked.

I have been using gilette fusion cooling lotion after the shave though. Or Nivea (the cooling shit in the glass jar made in germany)

I have tried every razor I can think of and it still tears me up if I shave more then 3 times a week. Every razor and shaving gel, cream, lotion, oil you can think of too. Oh well, makes putting on cologne a real fucking treat and great for waking up. BTW we totally thread jacked the OP. if he wasn't such a cry baby I would feel bad. But oh well...

the cologne is what's fucking your skin up man. Put cologne on the back of your neck, not teh front.

I have a really nice beard and mustache trimmer. I can't use an electric. I have a pretty thick beard, so anytime I've ever used one it'll take me FOREVER to shave. I usually have to go over the same area 2 or 3 times before I've gotten it all. I don't have the patience.

I've found that the simple Schick double edged disposable razor works best for me.
