The "loss" isnt nearly as evident with a SRI. When i switched from my CAI to my sri, i had to adjust my footplay when driving. I was over revving way to often. For me it was that drastic of a difference.

If your MS3 suddenly felt like an old run down Ford Fiesta below 3,000 rpm, would it all be worth it because you can slam on the gas when the odd Mustang wants to give it a go with you and you can punch up the revs? Would those 7 seconds out of your day make it all worth it?

Before owning a new mod, all the noobs can go by is what people write and the dynos we see and as a noob, my filter is different than the car savvy group on here. With all that said, I don't like the idea of losing 10-15% power in the lower rpms regardless of how much I gain in the higher rpm's. I like what I like, you enjoy what you like.

Don't mean to start any battles here, and I can freely admit that I've made some noob mistakes.....but there are some people on here that seriously need to pull their dicks out of their car's exhaust pipe and consider the fact that others aren't quite at that level of love for their cars......or at the very least, not yet.

go get a sri n debate with yourself if you want it or not, clearly no ones opinion matters since your bent over backwards. you like u keep, u don't u sell. people will buy it. but your reference in saying if your CS intake loses 50% of low end, thats different that 5% buddy.

just make it easier for yourself not get upset with peoples response, if u don't like the idea of losing "10-15%" which i don't think its that close than umm.. wait, wait for it! DON"T GET IT.

When I installed my cs intake, I also noticed a drop in the low end. I even made a post about it over boosting, however, in hindsight I think of was due to me just using more throttle to get normal acceleration. Keep in mind that I had also just reset the ecu, so that could have been a factor also. After 7 mos and almost 8k miles though, it just seems normal. It's not like it gets hard to drive or anything, and the sound alone is enough for me to keep it. Do as you wish, but that's my experience with it.
