Big Install Plans

Eric and Edge are the bomb. Ordered these today:
- Autotech internals and CP-E injector seals
- Cobb AP
- Snow stage 2 meth
- denso itv-22's

Sitting in living room
- JBR PMM and TMM
- JBR erg delete, TB coolant bypass and IM/TB PTFE gaskets
- CS Downpipe (I got a deal on a CS race pipe off eBay for 60 bones) 350 for a full non cat DP not too bad.

Is 3 full days enough? I was going to slap everything on, but not start spraying right away. Do a OTS stage 1 tune and run some logs and calibrate my MAF per abilor's bible. Then decide on either an etune or continue to try and tune my self per the toning guide. My intro is in the new member area. After everything settles start with getting the meth dialed in. Does this sound reasonable?

lol I'm the same way, there's a few, very unlikely cases of blown seals on k04 ive read here

I only have them because sure's new injector seals and studs kit is 95$ on presale right now.

half price of CPE is hard to beat

Can easily be done in 3 days taking your time. Just be sure you have a plan for your meth setup. As the meth tank (if your going this route) requires you to fab a bracket to hold bot tank and pump.

As far as the tune goes. IMO, it's good to learn yourself but it takes time. For the money you spent already, what's a little bit more knowing you have a powerful yet safe tune. Hit up @Lex at Stratified Automotive Controls he will get you zooming.

it was about 71,000 or so i think. i discovered the problem (or it happened) when i first started doing a custom tune. not sure which came first.

$95 is the price to beat, period. even the ptp seals / studs are more than that.

I know it's overkill with the K04, but since i will have the intake mani off to install the TIG....I though it might be a good idea to go ahead and do it. I have not wrench'd for a few weeks and I can't wait to start tearing into things. i'm PB blasting my DP nuts and O2 sensors daily. As for the Meth setup... the snow kit comes with 2 nozzles. Should I use both? I know on is going right before the TB.

Two different sized nozzles, so no.

Tbh if you're moderately quick I don't see why you couldn't be done and drinking beers on the porch long before the end of the second day.
