Bluetooth Not Pairing

Hey all!

First time posting with my 2010 genpu! The MS6 is still sitting totalled in the driveway :(

Anyways, one of the things I absolutely love about the genpu is the built in bluetooth. The ms6 had some aftermarket one that the previous owner installed.

Trying to pair it is giving me issues though. Every time I go to the "Pair Device" and I go to scan for it on my phone, it never shows up under my Galaxy S5 bluetooth scan. I've disconnected the battery, removed all paired devices on both my phone and the car, and yet it still doesn't show up during a scan. The previous owner had music playing from it the day I purchased it, so I know it works. What gives?

If it helps, after going to BT Setup -> Pair Device -> Enter Pin 0000 ->, it comes up with "Err" after maybe...10 seconds?

I've never had any success using the menu (errors in the same place as you) but it always works via the voice commands, try that?

Actually, last night I tried the voice command prompt for the pairing and it worked! Glad I'm not the only one experiencing the issue when doing it with the push menu

My 2010 works fine through the push menus that's odd. I do have an iPhone though so maybe that makes a difference on these cars.

Got a new phone so was doing this today and had the same problem. Finally got it to work though. When it comes up with the "Enter PIN 0000", push the knob again and it says "Pairing". Then "Mazda" finally showed up on my phone and I could pair with it.
