Brand New MS3

Hey everyone, I have had a MS3 for three weeks now, im in love. I wondering what does everyone do first, also looking at intakes k & N or COBB? any help wanted.

Congrats!
I'm 2 weeks into mine, and loving it as well.

I'm going on 2 weeks also. 1st thing I did was H&R springs and Koni yellows. Next will be a JBR RSB, RMM, HPFP internals, Cobb AP and Cobb SRI.

Wrong section, but welcome none the less. Go read the stickies about how to mod your car, and while your at it read all the other ones too. A lot a good answers to be had, just make sure you take the time to search for them.

Brownie fuck-fest in here....

Congrats on the car.

I have the Corksport SRI/TIP and love it. But you'll need to start monitoring the fuel pump internals and planning on upgrading them as one of your first mods.
Also.. There is so much information on this forums it's best to search and browse around. All the info you need is on the forums just gotta look. There's even an entire sticky for intakes.

I'm surprised everyone was so nice with their responses to this question...lol! Usually you get SEARCH SEARCH AND SEARCH MORE YOU DUMB ASS!!!

There's the usual welcome, hard & abrasive. Have a thick skin OP, read the stickies for all newcomers, it pretty much covers everything. I cant see if you donated yet but I would highly suggest it if you have the extra scratch. It allows you access to the f/s section to get you started with all the mods you could want for less. Plus we have an AMAZING vendor presence. NOW GO SEARCH! (and welcome)

I would go with Cobb, K&N is expensive and the filter is not that great. Enjoy the car and read.

Capricious 07-18-2012 01:26 PM

I've only been here a couple months and MSF has done a 180 on outright destroying people who ask these questions.
:wtf1:

cshunter 07-18-2012 01:31 PM

@Capricious people were told to tone down a bit.

Capricious 07-18-2012 01:34 PM

Yea, I remember seeing it. But from what I understood, this forum operated in that manner for a long time.

Ace 07-18-2012 02:44 PM

Congrats! Search around, there is a lot of info that you need to catch up on.

In before, "Intake ordered! What next?!"

Stingray69 07-18-2012 05:06 PM

First thing I recommend is verifying wifey/girlfriend can get her head in your lap without disrupting the shifter. Welcome to the forum!
