Default Cabin air filter question

I was reading through an old thread on cabin filters and I realized that my car has 60K miles and never have changed the cabin air filters. Do you guys recommend sticking with oem mazda part or is there any aftermarket brands you would recommend? Fram, purolator, ecoguard?
I want the best option so price is no problem. If oem is the best way to go, than that's what will do. Thanks in advance for your opinions.

I forked out $45 for my "revised" filter from Mazda as part of a TSB. Gen won ftw...

It added 20 hp on Vdyno and 2 hot women to the backseat. 8/10 would buy again.

I stuck with OEM since it's cheap on Amazon.

I notice there are activated carbon filters available now too, they are said to remove mould spores and some smoke residues.
I can't attest to how well they perform but they're still cheaper than OEM.

meh, picked mine up at NAPA.
It's a cabin filter for a car, not a dyalysis machine.

It looks like he has a Gen 2. Way easier than a Gen 1. Should only take 5 minutes.

I still thought it was a pain to do the GenPu. So everything I took off to get to the filter, stayed off. Weight savings because racecar. At least next time it will be easy to do :-)

^ Exactly what motivated me to say "fuck it, because racecar" and started stripping all of the interior, purchased a 2nd vehicle for daily and legit is track racecar. Damn cabin air filter, look at what you've turned out to become.
