Can I get a crash course on 2013 ms3's?

I have recently got my first Mazda, and my first import and my first electronically controlled car. It's a 2013 mazdaspeed3. Bone stock. My other two vehicles are a 1995 Dodge Ram diesel, and a 1974 charger. Both are absent of any computer tuning systems. My request is, if there's anything you can tell someone new to mazdas, what would you tell them? http://i1113.photobucket.com/albums/...psnkvmqieb.jpg

Welcome.

First thing I would tell you is, read your welcome Private message, and all of the links in it. That is a good starting point. Then read all of the stickies (green titled threads).

Crankshaft's completely irrelevant post:

It's not fast in the manner we are accustomed to fast. You will feel like you have to abuse the car just to keep up with jack rabbit soccer mom's in their accord at a stoplight. :D But for me, the fun factor is greater.

Also, on another irrelevant note: When you crank the car cold, it revs unusually high to please the tree huggers and help heat up the catalytic clogger. If you apply a smidge of throttle during the first fire, it will rev like a "normal" cold start. Soooo, in essence, i do the opposite of the past...where I once tapped to set choke and obtain a good cold start.

It's Friday. I'm burnt and slappy. You will have some fun with the Mazda.

I actually like that feature. I'm catless, so my first action every day is to wake up and stink up the apartment complex with my 90 dB uncatalyzed fumes.

@Deviation; The welcome PM and noob thread will tell you most of what you need to know. My statement to you is that the key to making these cars drive the way you want them, particularly when it comes to power, is via electronic tuning.

And I love your car BTW. The 2013 CWP w/Tech is one of the best Pu trims IMO.
