Car Backed up into Wall :( ADVISE Pls

1 Attachment(s)
In short I am a freaking MORON...leaving the car on neutral..needless to say..it backed up into a wall...just like in the movies..someone idiot (me):banghead: running behind the car and around the back trying to stop it rolling down.
This is the result....No dent..just scratched up bad. Appreciate any advise on where I can have this painted (Maco etc?) and possibly how much am i looking at.:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Thanks!

You pay for what you get man. I got my DC2 painted at Maco and it wasn't bad...but then again I knew EXACTLY what to expect as a final product.

By looking at the pictures it looking like you are going to need to do the bumper and rear quarter panel as well.

I'm thinkin $500-700'ish for a job done right.

Plastidip teh car.

You'll hate life if you take it to macco. Figure having it done again in a couple years as well.

Possibly file a claim with your insurance.

Get estimates from dealer ship paint and body.

Check out local shops, especially ones that do the work for the dealer. They'll already have the paint codes and probably the paint, along with familiarity with the cars themselves.

Find a good collision shop around you, and they should be able to do some decent paint work. It sucks that you got two panels, since I'm not sure how much blending a shop would really need to do to get it just right. Hopefully it isn't too bad (I'd take a wild guess at a little under a grand), and at least there isn't any body damage.

hey man, I know it doesnt look like much but its a shitty area due to the amount of paint work. when all is said and done expect about $1000. and dont go to maaco. They will fuck your car up. If your anywhere in the DC area, pm me and I'll get you an estimate and hook you up at my shop. If not, just find a reputable shop and you'll be happy with the work. if you have a 250 deductible, you might wanna call in a claim.

I took my car in for a quote after I dented my drivers side panel. The collision shop told me 700-1000 for repairing the dent and painting the side panel and door.

You hit two panels, there's a little filling in to do, and it's red so that's about $1,000+, easy. More if it was CWP due to the three stage.

How did you forget to both put the car in gear AND set the hand brake before getting out?
