Now this may not seem too terribly often, but we sell an extremely low volume of fuel, likely due to our outdated pumps and such. The reason we don't upgrade is because pumps are retarded expensive and we barely make enough on gas to keep the lights on (2 to 8 cents a gallon). We just recently got our tanks re-lined. E-10 was a pain in the ass to convert to. But yeah, to sum it all up, even sketchy stations can provide you with quality fuels, as long as the owner cares about the shit that gets pumped into their tanks. If I knew our fuel was junk, there's no way I would feel ok peddling it to the public.
Although "your" station may be the exception to the rule, first impressions mean a lot and I personally wouldn't buy gas at a dumpy looking station unless it was for a POS or rental car.

The only real problem I have is fuel delivery and it was a problem the dealer created when putting the injectors in from what they told me. The trouble is that they can't seem to fix what they screwed up.

I don't think it's funny.

Perhaps I should have mentioned he's making close to 500 at the wheels.

Those cars are very temperamental, takes balls to DD one. Besides, they're still heavily sought after cars.

Not a sarcastic funny or a strange funny.
I actually laughed. It was just the wording.

Don't take it the wrong way, foo.

Stand: We've got two (which is ridiculous given the amount of other dealerships) and the other one is much worse from what I've heard. The one I go to now is a brand new facility and very impressive so you'd think they'd be a little more on the ball with these cars. I just wish we had a performance place here that specialized in these types of cars. There is one guy in a small outfit that the dealer I bought the car from uses. He's got a little shack but everybody with a BMW or a Porsche seems to flock to him. He and his guys seem to really be smart when it comes to performance vehicles. The only trouble is he's out of the way and he has banker's hours so I have no way to get to work if he has my car.

#1 rule: go to a pump station that gets refilled often.

Years ago, I would have immediately chosen Shell fuels for best performance. But these days it doesn't perform like it used to. I think the corporate world has made this industry more complex, suppliers and buyers, etc (like it makes every industry) and that causes the "who knows what they actually put in their tanks issue." I've always had good luck with this station right up the street, it's a Royal Farms. These guys are on every corner of Baltimore.

Anyway, again my experiences say that its more important to find the best "station," not the best "brand." My best 1/4 mile time was run on Royal Farms (aka RoFo) gas.

Mods (in order of significance): Cobb AccessPort, Autotech CDFP upgrade (thanks Captain KR for your assisstance), Cobb SF SRI Intake, Ultimate Racing cat and resonator-less test pipe, Cobb Turbo Inlet Hose, Cobb Knob, Cobb 300g shifter weight

Tune: My own (based on the v210 and v231 Cobb OTS maps but ramped way up)

Street creds:
- Fastest known K04/93 MS3/driver with only an AP, CDFP upgrade, intake, and tune | 13.37@106.83mph on stock Dunlops (2.04 sec 60' time, full curb weight, 75*F ambient temp)
- Has gone an indicated 146mph on three occasions now.

Yes I will help you tune your K04/pump gas car; I have much less experience than the major players but I also charge you $0 and can turn you around quickly. 4 satisfied customers and counting...
