Cat back question Currently have a test pipe and installing a catless downpipe and intercooler this week but I don't have a cat back still running factory exhaust. Wondering if not installing a cat back im losing out on a good amount of power? |
Catless downpipe + fuel pump internals = a MUST |

I had a race pipe than installed a 3" cat back and did notice an improvement. That was the last mod I did though. |

You will get more power from a tune and 3" or bigger intake, if power is what you are after. And those two mods will cost roughly the same or cheaper than CBE. I got my cbe for super cheap (reason I bought it) and when installed didn't notice any felt power. One of the threads here discusses it helps with flow though. I honestly wish I would have put the money toward intake and a tune. Hope that helps you. |
CBEs don't add power, at least nothing you'll notice. It's a sound mod. |

I would upgrade the intake first as well. I would recommend the 3.5" Corksport. Also, once you get that catless downpipe in there, trust me, you aren't going to want more sound. It doesn't really make the sound too much louder inside the car, but you will notice a ridiculous amount of noise bouncing off nearby surfaces (like when going through tunnels, sitting near concrete barriers and other cars) because your car is, in fact, a lot louder. This isn't something I expected when I installed my downpipe and I absolutely love the stock CBE now. It really sounds great. |

Cbe adds more than people think. Especially if you have cats deleted. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
