Default Changing my oil and I found something weird.

Anyone know where that belongs? Found it above the RMM. Is it important or should I not worry about it.

Tried it on the dp doesn't seem to go there. O2 sensor is run behind the firewall/heatshield. Doesn't seem too important considering its been this way a month and I haven't noticed anything.

the tab is probably to locate it on mounting when assembling it .... the wire hangers usually will hold wires like O2s and shit .... look for any wires flopping around .... is my guess .

if the car runs fuck it .....

weight reduction , go track it and see if u picked up any mph ..report back

Holy fucking pictures Batman!

That is the bracket that bolts to the Downpipe for routing the o2 sensor wire. This is important to prevent damage/melting of the $200+ sensor's writing.

If you are running an aftermarket Downpipe you will remove them. I only reused one on my CP-E Downpipe install on the MS6.

As for brackets being to be removed, this can definitely be the case. I try to not have to but it is at times necessary. Most recently I went to HTP's Full 3" intake and had to remove the bracket that the wiring harness attaches to. Smaller intakes you can leave it.

Mind snapping a pic if you have yours attached? O2 wire doesn't look like it has been rubbing on anything so far.

Just trace your o2 sensors and see if there is any chance they can touch the exhaust or EM, if so, zip tie the wire away so there is no chance of this happening.

No aftermarket parts here except the intake and RMM that I put in myself.

Option 2 is possible, especially considering that there's zip ties everywhere that aftermarket parts would be. Especially by the intake/vacuum lines.

I have mine tucked behind the fiber board heat shield thingy also. Those little pigtails are a nuisance, and there's just enough slack for a good fit.
