Cleaning Seats

I periodically take my dog for a ride in the MS3 and today it was really hot (95*) and he drooled some on the rear seat. No big deal I thought, I have all sorts of high dollar cleaning products. So I get home a try to dry it off and clean it up, but to no prevail.

I can still see what looks like drops of water on the red portion, where he dripped. What are the seats made out of? And what are some good cleaners? I can take a pick in the day light tomorrow if that will help. Thanks in advance and here are some picks of the culprit, Dooby.

Don't mean to thread-jack, more like thread-enhance, but if anyone has a good way of removing stains from our seats, (mostly Coca-Cola, maybe some Rum, and other misc. liquids)

I'd be very interested, my back seat is a mess :/

Oh, and love-stain remover would also come through, sadly I have no idea what to do.

Have not cleaned the Speed yet; being just a week old, but in previous vehicles I have used Simple Green and a scrub brush. Not full strength, should dilute it to about 50/50.
I've used it on every used vehicle I have ever bought to remove most of the stains in the seats and carpets with great success.

I only let the bassets ride in my 68 pickup truck. It is strictly used for dog transportation. :)

I've had good results with some stuff from autozone. I think it's made by blue magic and it comes in a spray can. Or Tuff Stuff should work. Surprised you can't just get the stains out with a damp towel.

I always use water first. If you have a carpet cleaner with a hand attachment start with that. If not then a spray bottle, a medium brush, and a shop vac.

75% of the time that will get it out.

Otherwise some mild fabric cleaner would work, like what was listed above.

Lol at dogs name "Dooby". Reminds me of my dads dog "Bogart". Does the dog get the munchies often?
I used Bissel pet stain remover for carpet (in can) on stains on my seat, worked great.

Non water based stains i use brake clean....no kidding. We used it all the time at the dealer. But if its a water soluble stain then use something water based. BTW, i think skeet is water based. :3some:

skeet is protien based...
