yes it will work fine. People who upgrade their genones to gen2s often keep their APs. Though the word "upgrade" might be debatable

Another important aspect you should concern yourself with: If you plan on buying a used AP make sure you verify it has been unmarried from whatever vehicle it had been used with prior. If it hasn't, congratulations, you've just bought yourself an expensive paperweight. |

It NEEDS to be unmarried before it will work with another vehicle. So stolen APs, or APs that haven't been unlinked are close to worthless. Should you buy one, COBB will unmarry it for you, but the fee is $300+ if I recall correctly. So watch your back. |
