AP Warranty work;uninstall first? I have to return my AP to Cobb for a warranty (I hope) issue. If I can, should I uninstall it form the car first so I don't lose the OEM map? If I do that, what repercussions will I face from having an intake and TIH installed with the OEM map? Thanks, Mike |
I would just keep the map(stage 1) you have on the car now. No reason to go back to stock map(slow). Also you should be able to load up the saved stock map again when you get your AP back if you need to go to the dealer or sell. If you still have doubt call Cobb and ask them. |
F safe mode/map (unless you have crap fuel pressure like me). Keep stage1 in if it is running well. |
Keep the map. When COBB returns it to you, all original maps/settings/serial number will come with it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
My concern is if they replace my AP with a new one. Is the Stage 0 map that comes with the AP identical to the OEM? |
why didn't you save it to your computer? |
Why don't you call Cobb and see what they want you to do? |
^ This. |
They said leave it; I left it. Thanks for the replies. |
