Congrats on the purchase! I was set on getting a GTI for the longest time going into purchasing my new car.. Decided to test drive the MS3 for the hell of it and fell in love the first time it got into boost down the street haha.

Id like to know a few things, no intentions of jacking a thread but...

First off...mud flaps, I'm in PA they are laying oil and chips down everywhere and I would like to protect my paint (I'm anal HA) are their any mud flaps that don't require drilling any holes in the rear. I like my warranty too much

Second...fuel pump internals, who to buy from and what can i do without upgrading them when the time comes after warranty

Third...accessports, any cheap ones around? I hear it pays to buy a brand new one

Um I guess I'll go with the mud flaps one...

Drilling a couple holes in the frame will void the warranty? Who told you that?

I get city stop star traffic 19mpg with responsible squirts here and there. If you never hit boost you could get 23+ in city, but then you may as well get a pushbike or a horse and cart.
HWY you can get 34mpg if you touch the right peddle with a feather.

Thats with a bolted stage 2 Pu

Your coming from basically a rwd vtek car with no torque and unicorn RPM range to a fwd all torque pokemon. So you will have to learn to love mid range torque, because you will be over the speed limit despite wanting more RPM. and sliding the rear out, your going to miss that. You will also like how it changes lanes for you when on boost.
