Crazy idea for re-routing AC vents.

Ok so I searched everywhere and of course I figured i would see what you all think.
I have a toddler and I figured hey maybe I can find a way to make backseat AC / heated vents. The idea is to take some of the dyer vent tubing and connect it to the lower vents under the seat, run the tubing up through the lower plastic seatbelt panel without obstructing anything there. Dremel a hole for a thin AC vent from another car that has a similar tone that I can retrofit there. This would give it a cleaner look, hopefully. Now this might be the most retarded idea ever since I can't find anyone online that's done such a thing.
What do you all think?

There is so little room in there I don't think it can be done safely.

Maybe route it through the center console and use a door defroster vent to aim it up towards the rear seats?

I don't know, just spit balling here.

Your best bet, imho, would be to mod the plastic on the B pillar with an offset install if its too tight behind and add a vent up top. Feed air from the stock location on the floor with a booster fan.

Why wouldn't you just rig something up to the vents under the seats? You could block off the front seat feet vents to increase flow (I assume those flow when the feet vents are selected). You might be able to modify them for more flow

Ummm warm up the car a few minutes before putting the kid in? Worked for everyone else lol. It's not a big car. But on a more serious note, the vents under the seat, native just run a tub up the back of the seat from there? Shouldn't take more then couple minutes and push the heat or a.c. Close enough.

I had a feeling that space would be too tight. When I did my amp installation I took off the panel but it's been like 3 years since then so I forgot the clearance in there. An offset would be ok but not so clean looking. Found a few inline booster fans people use for their hydro grow and marina fans and I think they might work to boost the air a little more. I know leaving the car on for a few is the easiest route but why not give it a shot lol.

My son is 2 now, and the A/C getting to him, or him sweating has never been a problem down here in FL. You're in CT, can't see it being too hot.

And in the Winter, well i'm sure you dress your kid appropriately, and warm up the car a bit before driving off, so the car should be decently toasty by the time you start driving.

All the work it would take, wouldn't be worth the payoff at all IMO.

There are A/C ducts under the driver and passenger seats. However, they blow air I guess only when you switch for the feet vents. You can use those.

It is what it is. Just trying to save you some time and effort from coming up with your own solution.
