Damn it, must sell the Pu!
 

I just found out that I will have to part with the Pu after only owning it since Feb. Wifey got laid off and I'm constantly on the road. What is a good asking price for a barely used 2012 CWP Pu with tech and 2500 miles? I know I'm going to have to take a little hit on it but thats ok given the circumstances. I'm away from home right now so i don't have pics but its a stock white speed3 with professionally tinted windows. What do you guys think? Also I have a bunch of new parts i will be selling soon when i get back in town. Unless you think it would be worth selling it with the parts which i doubt. Parts include ETS TMIC, Denso 22's, JBR OCC, JBR shift plate and weight, JBR solid shifter bushings, JBR 5mm spacers, JBR RMM, JBR 80A RMM, Autotech Internals.

Part out! You never make your money back for parts if you sell them with the car. Not worth it at all. Sucks having to sell the speed, I'm in the process of parting mine out also.

Its tough to tell. I think generally speaking these cars hold their value really well. I have seen used 2010's and 11's go for 21-22k without the tech package.

I think you could sell your car for 23-24 locally but sometimes it's tough to find a serious buyer in order to sell it quickly.

I would definitely part the car out, you can get back a good chunk of your money spent on the mods based on the parts you have and you won't take a hit on selling a modded car.

I bought my ms3 new for 24k...how the hell do you expect to get 23-24k for a used one? tech package or not, 23-24 is way way out of range of what an actual buyer would spend.

look on kbb and other sites to get a rough estimate of your value. then expect to get about $1500 less than that estimate...especially if the buyer knows you modded the car (unless its a kid, then you can probly get 24k easy)

Some of it might have to do with where you live. I looked up used speed3's locally and one is going for $27,000 while other 2010's are going for 21,700 with over 20k on the clock. Right place, right time, right idiot and you can definitely sell the car for close to what you purchased it for.

You will make a good chunk of cash parting out everything so never sell a car with mods because you won't see a dime of it back. For price, it depends how fast you are looking to move the car. The car is worth about $23k-$24k on the high end which unless you get lucking finding someone, you will probably be holding the car for awhile. $21k-$22k and this car should move pretty quick, plus you'll make the extra on parting out the mods. Believe it or not, 2012 Speed3's are going for $19k-$21k at auctions all day long so it all depends on 2 things: How long do you want to hold onto the car and how much of a hit are you willing/able to take inorder to get out of it?
