dealership ad question This would be my first post on this forum. I'm researching almost every night for information on the speed3. I'm in love with the car. I'm researching and contacting dealerships and everything and i came across Wayne Mazda in New Jersey. I'm wondering how they were with their customers? Also they have a new Ad up saying that they would give up to $4000 back for a purchase of a new car. Would it be a good idea for purchase the car now? My initial plan was to save up $10,000 for a decent enough down payment so my monthly payments wouldn't hurt. I'm only a little more than half way there and the $4000 would be great and i can go to the dealership and do the next step. This would be my first New car purchase and i don't want to get scammed or raped. Everything would be under my name and i live in queens NY. I'm 24. I'm eager for the speed3 and i just want to make the best decision. Any feedback would be awesome. Thanks! also whenever i get the speed i'll donate and all that! Thanks! |

haha alright, i'll steer away from wayne mazda. Thanks! |
If you're anywhere near Fitzgerald AutoMall over towards Annapolis, they seem to have some of the best prices around. (e-mail them for better prices than their website has.) Or if you want to make a little trip, Hertrich Capitol here in Dover, DE have great customer service and match prices pretty well. |
i'm looking them up right now, thanks! it would take 4 hours from me to get there, thanks for the info though! Quote:

4 hours isn't much if you are saving thousands of dollars :/ I drove to cleveland for mine. |
Keep in mind most Mazda promotions exclude the Mazdaspeed3. Get familiar with reading the fine print. |

Just remember to check your oil every couple hundred miles. Mine used about a 1/2 quart in the first 1k. |
Shop at different dealers. I used the internet to buy mine and had to go 75 miles away to get the best deal. The one dealer that was most responsive I did all the dealings with them over the internet, including the final price- which theirs was the lowest around anyway. Some would not even respond, so i did not deal with them. And they delivered the car to me on a flat bed right to my door- no extra cost. Get dealers best price and if you are satisfied you can even put deposit on a credit card over the phone. And I suggest you get the loan on your own as well- at a bank you normally deal with. When the dealers give you the loan, you might not get the best interest rate- and some of the percentage of the loan goes back to them every month when you make a payment- that's how they make their money. Get an order sheet from the dealer with the purchase price and VIN number, visit your bank or even apply on line and they will approve you if you have good credit. They will then cut you a check, take a ride and go pick up your car. With 10K down, you will have low monthly payments like I do- I also put 10K down when I bought mine in 2011. Bear in mind you will also have to pay sales tax when you register the car. That will be a percentage of the car's price, depending on where you live. Good luck- and great selection of a car! |

You guys fail. If you show up prepared and know how to haggle, it doesn't matter where you go. My dealership is ten minutes away. |

Most seasoned car salesmen are prepared for people like that and pretend to haggle back with you. Look for the youngest looking salesman (green pea) and deal with him/her. If he/she says "let me get my trainer" or anything along those lines, you're winning. Sent from my iPhone 573729199377482. jealous? |

If you walk into a dealership fully armed with accurate information and knowledge, you'll eat those fuckers up. It also makes no sense to find the new kid. You're not winning shit if his trainer or closer steps in. Which is exactly what's gonna happen if you go inside to talk price after the test drive. Closers are professional salesmen. The guys working the lot are just grunts that get people interested in the products. I don't fail, sir. I got my MS3 for 21,500 out the door. That's $200 dollars over the dealers purchase invoice. I took them to the cleaners, son. |
Yo kid, I'm probs wrong n shit. Just going by my experience. OP, do whatever dash says. Or he'll glock you in the ass with some grape drink... er something. Sent from my iPhone 573729199377482. jealous? |

Even if you have an 07-08, dealer invoice on a sport model was $19,517. Employees get $500 above invoice. No more unless the dealer is trying to dump older models. Then you get it for $200 over like I did. Can't con the con man. I was good at this shit. I averaged 10 to 20 cars a month and always profited. Not sure what the invoice is for genpu's, but I can tell you it's much higher than gen1's. |
