Well, you might, if you're a feggid...

Actually I was surprised it got that good of gas mileage with the mods and 0 tune.. I figured it was around 22 or so. My WRX didn't get near that or my speed 6 for that matter then again it was awd and heavier so its a fact. The WRX however was lighter than my speed 3. I have had some crappy MPG cars the rx7 and my domestics being the worst. 8-14mpg.

I have gotten a speed ticket it was back in 2003 in my sr swapped 240.. 106 in a 55. I was slowing down. It was late and their was nobody on the freeway and was doing a test run. The cop was cool about it though but said if their was traffic he would of hauled me into jail.
Just wrote me a ticket instead.

Eh possible .. But I wouldn't say too much money.. Not even close.

You don't have to race it but if you have money to throw at a car, an optimal tune should clearly be on the list.

The car is clean looking for sure but running all of that stuff on the stock tune just seems pointless. Sure it looks nice but it's not safe. Granted, if you really never got on it, I can see why you didn't have any problems but still.

I never said you have to race the thing. I already said that I don't race my car. I do like to accelerate though. You can go WOT without breaking the speed limit. If I was just going to baby the car all around, I'd buy something that gets better gas mileage.

I've only owned 3 cars in my life and 2 that I've modded. One being a WRX, which I carefully researched and modded accordingly and the other is my 2012 speed3 which I'd say I've taken the right path with as well.

It's your money and your car but I just don't see why someone, who clearly has money to spend on performance parts, would not research and modify in the safest way possible.
I can and might get an AP.... Previous cars I went with standalones like the HKS F-CON for example on my FC. Im just focusing on other stuff first and again since I barely drive the car except to meets usually I didn't want to rush things.

Trust me everybody that ever rides with my says I drive slower than their grandparents.
I have some experience with the MZR considering my speed 6. I know a few things are different so I don't see why I cant take a similar route as I did with the 6..

Trust me if something happens to it.. I WILL post it here so you can say I told you so..

I promise

That's a nice-looking MS6! I wish mine was still that clean . . .

You NEVER let your car get into boost?!?! You bought a turbocharged car, and paid a premium for it (as you did with the WRX and MS6). Why didn't you spec a 2.5 NA MZ3, save money, get into a lower insurance bracket, and have the fuel efficiency you so desire?

What you say about "cannot blow your motor unless there is something wrong" is not true. We've had guys blow stock engines. We've likewise had guys blow engines while using upgraded HPFPs. The fuel pump is not a lifesaver, but it is a necessary security measure for the sake of your engine.

Running your mods without tunes is like marrying a fat girl and putting her in sexy clothing without getting some of the weight off her. Sure, the clothes are sexy, but they're useless on her because you get nothing out of it. Get some of that weight off her, and fuck the shit out of her.

I second that!! why buy a turbocharged car if you dont love BOOST!!! ITS TURBOED SO YOU CAN HAVE BOOST!!

The longest I can ever stay out of boost is about 24hrs. And that is right after getting new tires and telling myself, "Let's try to get more then 20k out of this set." Then I approach an onramp...
