do i need CDFP?

Hello,

I currently have a Corksport intake on my 2010 speed3, and want to get the corksport exhaust, testpipe and downpipe, as well as corksport tmic to totally utilize horsepower/torque but was wondering if I would need a internals CDFP. Im hoping I dont because I dont know how to install nor do I want to have it installed.

Also for those that have the downpipe, it says that it will display CELs. I do have a accessport and know that I can turn off the light with that, but will the downpipe hurt the car. Why does the CEL come on.

Thanks,

Josh

Alright, posting this up multiple times in multiple sections is not going to help your cause. SEARCH.

Yes. Research KMD or Autotech and also about using your Accessport. Go Rangers.

Such a great scene haha.

OP, you will need a HPFP, but I think you need to invest in a monitoring device before you even think of going any further with your car.

Edit: saw you have an AP already, disregard the second half of my post.

The gen2 fp may be a bit better than gen1, but regardless of turbo, as soon as you increase

boost past a certain level, your hpfp becomes unreliable @ best.

1. SEARCH
2. take logs
3. review logs and ask for input on them
4. Find a friend to slap you for being lazy and not searching

I was just trying to be an asshole. He can either take my advice, search or listen to what everyone else has said. One of those is the WRONG choice.

If you take out a cat (i.e. testpipe), your're at stage 2.
Stage 2 requires upgraded cdfp
Theres your answer!

It's a 45 minute swap at most. Get some tools and do it yourself. Here is the DIY
