God damn, lots of speed owners having a hard time with the cops lately. There have been 2 in the last week getting caught doing 4th gear logs. Then a "exhaust note" ticket. I better be careful so I don't get a ticket for vibrations or intake sounds.

Funny, i used to live in Brooklyn. I'm glad I'm in Maine now. The majority of lifted trucks are louder than my exhaust, luckily.

I do go to brooklyn a few times a year to visit friends/ family and come into the office for work though.

i remember getting pulled over by Rutgers police in my SRT-4 , he told me my stock exhaust was to loud. Demanded to see a diagram of the exhaust setup since srt4's had no mufflers. I had to pull a pic up on my phone to show him. What an asshole.. go bother someone actually doing something wrong.

Know your laws. It's not a cops job to tell you the statues of the state/county before being pulled over it is everyones right to know what they can and cannot be ticketed for. Educate yourself so next time you get pulled over you can tell them to shove it up their ass

You're right ignorance is not an excuse; however there are so many other idiot drivers out there who are actually causing accidents. Cops should focus on getting them off the road instead of fucking with us for stupid shit like loud exhaust, tint etc.............(i.e.)state trooper pulled me over the other day. The way he was going off on me I thought I was gonna walk away with at least 5 tickets (no front plate, back plate not visible, windsheild tint, window tint, tail light tint too dark). Ended up with a $85 tint ticket, could have been worse.....
