First Log- If anyone can take a look

My mods are simple: JBR intake and TIP, Ultimate racing catback, AP stage 1 SF+TIP, autotech fuel internals, Forge bpv1- blue 1 shim.
Thanks in advance guys,

which fuel map did you flash, 91 or 93?

i believe 91?

Logs look good,
minimal KR, nothing to worry about.
fuel pressure is good,
boost comes in a bit late (approaching 3700rpm when you get ~16,5-17psi) but at least no spikes or creep.
air fuel ratio around 11.4 is good for a 91 map,
BAT's look good.

You're good to go.

Still enough headroom for more power though ;)

Wholegrain 10-25-2014 10:36 AM

91, sorry about that.

Thank you for the help, much appreciated, still reading around to learn how to interpret all the values. I have a high flow cat from ultimate racing coming in the mail with hopes to move to stage two. Again thank you a lot.

As Snip said, room to grow. You might want to check out a MAF cal again. See how stable your LTFT and STFT are. On the one log, your AFRs bounce around a little bit.

No knock except on spool up. Low WGDC. Excellent CFMs. You could easily run some increased boost and or timing

Thank you for taking the time, I'm looking at the sticky for calibration. Room to grow it is.

Don't really agree with needing a maf cal.

Seeing the log where the afr is a bit of, that's where the knock is, so that might be the reason for the afr to be of.
Everywhere else afr is spot on (11.32-11.47 when 11.4 is targeted) when there is no knock, so maf cal is perfect if you ask me.

Well if you have a JBR SRI/ TIP this map will probably work better for you vs the cobb stage 1 map that is on the AP.

Now delete some cats and get a real tune!

Oh, and donate. Brownie..

I have a highflow cat coming in from UR, i have a lot of mobile DMV checks by where i am. Do you think thats worth it? Donation is incoming ASAP, i feel grimy taking in so much and not giving back.

Shampu 11-09-2014 04:48 PM

Yes. The stratified maps are much better than the Cobb OTS. Plus that is actually the map that is made for your MAF.
I would switch to the stage 2 map after you get your UR cat.

And there are plenty of highly modded speeds from Jersey over here. Why did you get a high flow? Should have just gotten a straight pipe for the Test pipe. Ive never had to do an emissions test (FL FTW) but I though most places just checked to see if you had a CEL (Which a test pipe wont throw)

boostdmazda3 11-09-2014 05:02 PM

No timing on these OTS maps. An msf e tuner will easily add 25whp to your tune.

Massive congo line of cops and such off of one of my ways to work, and they checked registrations and put mirrors under my car. If the fine isn't as bad as I've read, i have the test pipe, I'm exchanging it for the Hiflow.

Why are you running a 91octane map?

I'm commuting about 65 miles a day, so trying to keep everything in safe conditions. If it were up to me i wouldn't put the car through that, but i don't have much a choice. Do you suggest just going to 93 octane?

Well, you're in Jersey...we don't even get 91octane here...there's the shitty Wawa/Quick Check 92octane, and everywhere else has 93octane.

Run a 93octane map and stick to Sunoco and BP gas stations.

Snip 11-10-2014 01:25 PM

Indeed, a 93 octane map will still be safe, no worries man.
To be sure, do it and place a datalog here for us to check, to make you feel better :-)

But you'll be good, for sure.

Hey man, I finally got around to ironing some things out, but this is just about finished for now. Here is a log, sorry for getting back so late.

Also, if anyone can take a look that would be great, thanks.
