Default Frozen Windows

HEllo All!!!!
I live in Chicago land area and lately its been quite cold, -9 in the mornings. My dog does not want to go outside that cold ….. Anyway i park outside and every morning i need to scrape my windows bc they are frozen, for the past few days i noticed that they are freezing up on the inside…. Now I'm wondering if there is something wrong, my old car MZ6 did not had that issue, are any of you experienced same annoying issue? Please let me know.

Keep an eye on it, but I think its just the weather. I had frost on the inside of the windows of my house this morning.

It's just fucking cold.

not unheard of...my experience and I live in Philly so its not nearly as chilly but we do get some 0 or -2 nights/mornings after my night commute home with the heat going, some condescension builds on the window and overnight it freezes up on the inside...not a whole lot but some...happens too if there is snow on my car, open the door, some snow gets in and then it freezes...if its a lot of ice (like the entire window) might be something more though..

I had that this morning in my car in NC, about 18 out last night. It's just a factor of humidity and temperature differentials inside and outside of the car, shouldn't be anything to worry about. Mine was the only car like that in the lot this morning but I also drove it back from the gym late last night as the temperature was dropping fast so it makes sense to me

Yeah i think that makes sense i use heater when i commute so when i leave the car is warm inside, also some snow gets to the car (getting in / out) windows were frozen in the corners and in the bottom. I will keep an eye on it and see if it gets any worse.

Thank you all for the reply!!!!!

Next time you're out driving, especially if it's cold, dry day, crack the windows for awhile to dry out whatever trace moisture is in the car.
Unless your car smells musty, it's likely just from snow tracking in on your shoes and moisture from you breathing.
