So i was driving through Scottsburg indiana and get pulled over. The officer came to my window and asked if I knew what, I said no. He told me it was bc of my fyhn sticker. Told me it was rascist and that I had to take it off. I said it wasn't and it didn't mean nigger it ment nigga lol. He told me he knew what it ment bc he had been on this fourm before. Idk I that's really true or not. That didn't favor well win him. Said it was a federal offense and if I took it off then he would let me go. So I said sure, got a razor blade and took the N of. Kinda sucks but his reaction was funny so whatever.

As a federal police officer I can tell you there is in fact, NO federal law saying anything of the sort.

Freedom of speech has it's limits, however. It is not totally unreasonable to say that a sticker that plainly spells out "nigger" or "nigga" could incite violence, and would not be subject to the 1st Amendment.

Your sticker does nothing of the sort, however, so it's a moot point.

I cannot find anthing, but Indiana may have it's own state laws regarding it. For instance:

The law also includes movies other drivers can see playing inside of vehicles, including adult films.

So it's a load of crap, because there too much leeway in it.

I personally would not have taken it off, but really, if you piss off a cop and he get's all butthurt, he WILL find something else to get you for. I can guarantee it.

I have a FYHN sticker, and haven't put it on my car, but it's more because I'm worried about having my tires slashed or a brick put through the window when someone sees my white ass get out of the car, and doesn't understand the meaning behind the sticker.

Well I'm not going to defend myself here. You'll believe what you want anyhow so it would be a waste of time. I will say this, I had a razor blade bc I detail and do pinstripes/paint on the side and I had my detailing bag in the back. Need a razor for pinstripes. I don't have much proof besides not having a N anymore. But a little advice, I wouldn't accuse someone of trolling when in fact your trolling within the post.... I think you got off lucky with the speed @110. Last time I blew past an officer around those speeds (I was over 130) resulted in two cops with guns drawn and that was with me pulling over immediately after I saw them and no pursuit. The only thing that saved me was he didn't have a radar gun up so they were not sure of the exact speed I was travelling. (the cop said it was "really fucking fast") I received a 10 over the speed limit and a warning about no front plate mounted on the car.

I'm with you Ace, take the sticker off and get the eff out of there.
