Wanna hear some funny ass shit bout a pu owner?

On my way home from the meat last night...this black pu comes flyin by as i merge onto rt17. I flashed my lights for him to slow down.....what does he do? Takes the fuck off. Few miles up the road I catch up cause of construction and I see its a single exhaust pu. We go back to 3 lanes and I pull up next to him and go to roll my window down and again he takes off. I catch up....tell him to slow down...and we get down to bout 60..honked off 3 times and I destroyed this kids shit. I pull into gas station and he follows and asks....damn...what do you have done to this? I was like uh...few bolt ons...he goes...shit was loud as fuck...what kind of header are u using?

Goodness look at all the hate in this thread towards single exit exhausts on a gen2. I had single exit straight pipe because it was cheap and obviously better for flow than stock. The open cutout didnt really bother me too much and when I had to get a new exhaust (because no muffler fails inspection in WV) I got a dual exit. My straight pipe was mounted well though and didnt look that bad.

I will say this for Genpu owners. I believe we have the fastest(trap speed) with a stock turbo @kritz; 114 i believe is the fastest. Haters gone hate

I'm currently running a single-exit on my Pu and happen to think it flows a whole lot better then the dual UR i previously had. looks dope and sounds great to my tastes so fck it i like the cut-out!

Why? Single exits on the PU - unless you happen to replace the bumper with one from the MZ3 simply looks like ass... and the "I think it flows better" is laughable. Hell, the stock exhaust flows plenty well for the K04 and a 3" catback is simply overkill for most people.

The only legitimate reason would be for weight savings and then you are talking MAYBE five pounds, since our "dual" exhaust is simply a single until the axle.
