Im starting to have issues with the insurance company I didn't know about till now. They're not wanting to pay for my window that was cracked in the wreak, on top of some retarded estimates on parts, like 200 for the whole bumper, 100 for one fender when both are obviously damaged. Total estimate was 4400$ but mostly labor and paint. The farmers insurance adjuster is low balling the parts big time.

@SWAY , the shop should be fighting with the insurance company on your behalf. If not, get a copy of the insurance estimate. There should be a column on the line somewhere that says where the parts are coming from; LKQ (junkyard), A/M, Recon, or OEM. If anything other than OE, tell them the car had OE stuff on it when THEIR insured hit you, and that's what's going back on the car. You're not paying for shitty coverage, their insured is. The insurance company's job is to put your vehicle back in "pre-accident condition", and OE parts will get it there. if they're paying for your rental car, and I'm sure they are, don't authorize the shop to work on your car until their written estimate matches how you want your car repaired. Insurance companies hate paying for rental cars, so as soon as they figure out you're not budging, their tune will change very quickly. Best of luck!
