He'd explained to me that the increase in pickup isn't coming from more boost being put through to the engine -- the removal of the cat wouldn't increase boost. The extra pickup is coming from the removal of the restriction from the cat itself -- long story short, take the cat out of the way and the car will pick up quicker due to there being absolutely no restrictions in the exhaust. The car runs noticeably richer, yes, due to the unburnt fuel and whatnot not being monitored, but overall there hasn't been much change.

Of course he went on to advise me that if I was planning on adding mods on top of what I have done now, then it'd be time to do internals and get that AP but as of now, I'm fine.

Please report back in a few months when you zzb. Without any way to monitor you have no idea what kind of damage you are or are not doing to your car. It might only be a couple of degrees of KR but over the course of several months it will damage your motor.

Please explain how we don't know anything. This forum has produced the 2 highest HP mzr disi in existance. With one build being extremely well documented on this forum. Also several after market companies for this platform where started by members of this forum. GTFO
