B.) I only base my statement on the fact that the other two top tier brands (petro and esso) have some degree of E in their 91 blend. I have filled up and logged with all 4 brands of gasoline. Petro/esso cause upwards of 3 KR, shell and husky result in 0 KR, same tune, same mods, same road, almost the same temps running at night. Husky 94 is a few cents more than shell 91. It depends on who wrote it and what you read, but the lowest I've seen ethanol quoted as being octane wise is 105. Mixing any amount of a fluid with a higher octane rating should technically bring the octane rating of the lower rated fluid up (as a whole mixture wise). In the end, who knows what the hell those guys are putting in the tanks. LOL! | |

| Not Ranked : 0 score Ethanol doesn't reduce knock when it's in pump gas from the station. 93 octane is 93 octane.

| Not Ranked : 0 score What ever has station I happen to be by when I need to fill up, whether that be racetrack, chevron, Hess, BP, shell(when I grocery shop I get extra off). Same goes for my firebird. 93 only. Every once in a while will throw in a can of sea foam to clear her up if she is idling funny. Fuel is fuel is fuel. It all burns, 99% of the companies will use similar additives with different names. Not like they are national secrets.

| Not Ranked : 0 score Back in the day Sunoco and Shell gasoline seemed better than all the others. Nowadays can't say for sure. I am a firm believer of the RedLine SL-1 fuel cleaner. Not sure how well it will work on these DI cars but have always used it ever 15k or so on my other cars. People also seem to like the Techron cleaner and when I do use that it works well also.
