Gen 2 threw a P0296 code??
 

So I was driving home last night and my check engine light popped on. I recently changed my plugs and trans fluid. The code was P0296 which basically said my bank 1 noticed I was running a little lean. I had the air box out to fill my trans fluid, im thinking this may have something to do with it. Everything is tight tho from what I can see on the air box and inter cooler. One thing I noticed tho was the plastic tubing that you connect to the bottom of the air box was kinda not connected very well. It just slides into whatever comes over top of the radiator. You think that could be why I threw the code??! I find it hard to believe but I'm not 100%. I'm gonna take it all apart, and re connect it and clear the code and see what happens. Any other suggestions??

I'd check the plugs and make sure they are gapped properly.

The plastic tubing under the air box is like that...it's just a fresh air duct.
