Genpu is too cool Just noticed today that after parking my 2011 smily face car in the air conditioned garage the thermometer is very slow to adjust. It has been like 100 degrees but after leaving the 68 degree garage the thermometer only read 78 after 3 hours basking in the hot ass Kansas sun. While parked all day at work Iv'e seen it read 104 so it works but is slower than a honda adjusting. Does anyone have this problem and where is the sensor? Thanks for input. Really don't want to fuck with a dealer at 4500 miles. |
mine doesn't do that edit: i am stupid |
On the inside of the car? I figured it was reading the outside temp. |
on the gen1s its right in front of the condenser behind the lower grille |
every car i have ever owned has been like this? |
FYHN! |
mines slow too.. but not thattt slow |
Doesn't really help that your engine gets hot as fuck too.. specially when sitting after you just ran it.. Are you really worried that much about the thermometer? I'd be concerned if it was stuck at 100degree's after sitting over night in your A/C'd garage.. |
